James started his paddling at Northgate Arena and quickly moved onto Chester Riverside Canoe Club. Thanks to the help and guidance of Ian and the team James is now in his final year at The University Of Cumbria studying Outdoor Leadership,when not at University he works as a professional outdoor facilitator.
